Brindisi, Puglia and Salento
Brindisi sits between the Valle d'Itria and Salento, with its own airport ten minutes away. From BDS House you reach the best of Puglia in a short drive, and the old town on foot.
The Roman columns at the end of the Via Appia, the waterfront, the cathedral square and the little boat across the harbour to the Sailor's Monument.
A protected nature reserve with dunes, a watchtower and some of the clearest water on the Adriatic coast.
The White City on its hill, with alleys that open onto olive groves and the sea.
The baroque heart of Salento: golden stone churches, lively squares and a warm pasticciotto for breakfast.
The trulli of Alberobello, Locorotondo and Cisternino: stone villages, vineyards and long lunches.
From the cliffs of Otranto to the long sandy shores near Gallipoli: the Adriatic and the Ionian sea in one trip.
